Patriots reportedly land A.J. Brown in a massive win for New England's offense.

Adding A.J. Brown to the Patriots’ wide receiver room is a massive win for New England. Brown gives the offense a proven, physical No. 1 receiver who can win one-on-one, make plays after the catch, and completely change how opposing defenses have to approach the Patriots’ passing game. For a young quarterback like Drake Maye, having a receiver of Brown’s caliber can make a huge difference. He finally has an established target who can consistently win on the outside and take pressure off everyone else in the offense. Brown has already proven he can be one of the most dominant receivers in football when he’s healthy, and now New England gets to see what he can bring to its offense. The Patriots have spent years searching for another legitimate difference-maker at receiver, and Brown immediately gives them exactly that. If Maye continues developing and A.J. Brown plays anywhere near the level we’ve seen throughout his career, New England’s passing attack just became a whole lot more dangerous.
