Cam Skattebo running route for the Giants after injury

Cam Skattebo is already running like the devastating injury never happened.
In his first preseason action since suffering a dislocated ankle with tibia and fibula damage last October, Skattebo carried the ball four times for 19 yards—averaging 4.8 yards per attempt with a long of seven.
The box score won’t jump off the page, but his physical running style was still there. He attacked contact, kept his legs moving and showed no hesitation playing behind a Giants offensive line that is still finding its rhythm.
New York limited his workload and finished with a 13–10 loss to Minnesota, but seeing Skattebo back on the field was bigger than the final score.
John Harbaugh admitted Skattebo may not be completely back to his most explosive form yet—but said he is getting closer. If his burst continues returning, the battle between Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy Jr. for the lead role could become one of the Giants’ biggest storylines entering Week 1.
After everything he went through, do you think Skattebo will reclaim the Giants’ RB1 job this season?
