2025 Seattle Seahawks defense was "COLD"

The 2025 Seattle Seahawks defense was straight up COLD. In Mike Macdonald’s second season, Seattle finished with the NFL’s No. 1 scoring defense, allowing just 17.2 points per game while building one of the nastiest defensive units in football. They also finished the year as the No. 1 defense in DVOA. The scary part was how many different players could make an impact. Byron Murphy II, Uchenna Nwosu and Leonard Williams each finished with seven sacks, Ernest Jones IV grabbed five interceptions and DeMarcus Lawrence added six sacks while returning TWO fumbles for touchdowns. There wasn’t just one superstar carrying this defense. They were loaded everywhere. Then they saved one of their best performances for the Super Bowl. Seattle held New England SCORELESS through the first three quarters while recording six sacks, two interceptions and a pick-six on the way to winning Super Bowl LX.
