Ciryl Gane controversy meme with Alex Pereira and Tom Aspinall

Ciryl Gane has been at the center of two major UFC heavyweight controversies, with disputed moments against Alex Pereira and Tom Aspinall leaving fans demanding answers. At UFC Freedom 250, Gane stopped Pereira by second-round TKO to win the interim heavyweight title. But the finishing flurry sparked backlash, as several punches appeared to land behind Pereira’s head, raising questions about referee Herb Dean’s response. Months earlier, Gane challenged Tom Aspinall for the undisputed heavyweight title at UFC 321. The Frenchman started sharply, landing clean jabs, but an accidental eye poke at 4:35 of the first round left Aspinall unable to continue. The fight was ruled a no-contest, and Aspinall retained his title. One fight ended with Gane crowned interim champion, while the other produced no winner. Both incidents fueled debate about fouls, officiating, and what comes next for the heavyweight division. Which controversy was worse, the punches against Pereira or the eye poke against Aspinall?
