Baseball scout Gus Lobel tests a peanut vendor's throwing arm in 'Trouble with the Curve'

Trouble with the Curve (2012) follows Gus Lobel, an aging baseball scout played by Clint Eastwood, whose experience and instincts are being questioned as the game becomes increasingly focused on statistics and technology. In this scene, a cocky young prospect disrespects a peanut vendor named Rigo. Gus calls Rigo onto the field to test his throwing arm, revealing that real baseball talent can come from the most unexpected places. Was Gus right to trust his instincts over what everyone else was seeing?
