Some people don’t need advice… They need to be heard

I can relate a lot to Michael Beasley’s story.
I’ve been laughed at for expressing myself before.
There were times I felt like crying while playing ball.
I didn’t know how to express what I was dealing with either.
A lot of people are suffering in silence, wishing someone would notice what they’re carrying without them having to explain it.
I will always remember that day in HS.
I learned how to be vulnerable and express my emotions around people I trust, love, and care about and simply they just listening helped me to open up.
One conversation.
One safe moment.
One person just listening.
Can save more than you realize.
