Fabio Wardley admits preparation wasn ideal before Daniel Dubois rematch

Fabio Wardley admits his preparation wasn ideal before Daniel Dubois stopped him inside two rounds in their rematch. Speaking on the DAZN broadcast, Wardley said Dubois learned from their first fight and came back with a better game plan. You can really shorten it and say the preparation for me wasn ideal, Wardley admitted. He didn go into detail about what went wrong, saying he would review everything with his team later. For now, he accepted the defeat and gave Dubois credit for bouncing back after setbacks to become a world champion again. But Dave Allen believes the damage from their first fight may have taken a serious toll on Wardley, saying the towel came five months too late. Wardley is only 31 and intends to return, but after two brutal fights with Dubois in the same year, how should he approach his comeback?
