Khamzat Chimaev Takedown on Jon Jones in Street Grapple

Khamzat Chimaev took down Jon Jones. The frames show exactly how fast it went from a casual meetup to a full grapple. In the first frames, two men lock up in a garden area at night while a few people stand around watching. Moments later one of them is driving the other toward the ground on the pavement, and bystanders crowd in to see it. Then the last frame shows the two smiling and embracing, so it looks like it was all in good fun. We can’t hear what was said, but the energy tells the story: hyped, shocking and friendly all at once. That mix is why this clip is getting passed around. Save this for later and rewatch the takedown in slow motion. If these two ever met for real, who would you pick to win?
