Biased Take Friday: Week 4 NHL Updates and Hot Takes

One month into the season, we still have players on some absurd scoring paces, but we are starting to learn what each team is truly all about. The Oilers under Babcock are a wagon, and McDavid seems to have found yet another level. He is on pace for 260 points, and I do think that is obviously out of question, but people are asking will he get 200? He honestly is such a freak right now, and if you asked me a year ago I'd say definitely not, however he has changed my mind quickly. The Devils just made a huge splash for Connor Hellebuyck today, but for some reason I'm still not buying it. We have seen goalies like Swayman sit out training camp before and have a real rough season. There will be lots of pressure on Hellebuyck this year, so I'm curious how it works out. EP40 is a point per game to start the season and it's making his contract look a smidge better each and every day, I think this is the year Vancouver really strips it down and sells EP40. The LA Kings have looked horrible without Kopitar, something is off with the group and there's nothing about their line up I really love. I don't think they turn this bad start around and finish in the bottom 5 of the NHL.
