When the ref came to protect JSN

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has gone from a highly touted prospect at Ohio State to one of the NFL’s most dangerous young receivers. Selected 20th overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2023 NFL Draft, JSN spent his early seasons developing behind an established receiving group before breaking out in a massive way. His combination of route running, quickness, strong hands and ability to create after the catch has made him a nightmare for opposing defenses. His breakout 2025 season showed just how high his ceiling really is. Smith-Njigba finished with 119 receptions for 1,793 yards and 10 touchdowns, leading the NFL in receiving yards and earning First-Team All-Pro and Offensive Player of the Year honors. What once looked like potential is now becoming production at the highest level. Seattle has found a true No. 1 receiver—and JSN looks ready to keep proving that his breakout was only the beginning. 🔥
