Jeanty Injury Fuels Maxx Crosby Trade Talk

Ashton Jeanty’s frightening ankle injury immediately transformed the narrative surrounding the Raiders. Although the young running back walked off the field with assistance after falling awkwardly, later reports suggest that he only suffered a sprained ankle, and not an extended one. However, the uncertainty about his well-being was enough to revive one of the NFL’s greatest what-if trade scenarios: Maxx Crosby to the Dallas Cowboys? The trade idea came from longtime Cowboys beat writer Clarence Hill Jr., who claimed that if Las Vegas is moving into a rebuild, then the Raiders could consider trading Crosby and positioning themselves to select another prospect via the draft. But before you go crazy, there is absolutely no indication that Dallas and Las Vegas are currently discussing such a deal. It is just speculation – nothing else. While Jeanty’s well-being is the current story, and Crosby is still a Raider, the league will go bananas if the Raiders decide to trade their superstar pass rusher in the future. Should the Raiders trade Maxx Crosby to Dallas or this idea is totally unacceptable?
