Cam Skattebo: From Sacramento State to NFL Draft Pick for the Giants

Cam Skattebo’s journey to the NFL is one of those stories that makes football so special. After starting his college career at Sacramento State, Skattebo transferred to Arizona State and completely exploded onto the national stage. In 2024, he rushed for 1,711 yards and 21 touchdowns, added 605 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns, led the Sun Devils to their first-ever College Football Playoff appearance, finished fifth in Heisman Trophy voting and set Arizona State single-season records for rushing yards, rushing touchdowns and total touchdowns. Despite entering college without an FBS offer, that production eventually earned him a fourth-round selection by the New York Giants with the 105th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
