Jackson Flora shoves in Double-A debut for Richmond Flying Squirrels

Jackson Flora made his Double-A debut in spectacular fashion, tossing two perfect innings for the Richmond Flying Squirrels in the Eastern League playoffs. The Giants’ No. 4 overall pick struck out all four batters he faced in the first two innings, needing just 28 pitches to retire all six hitters he faced. Flora’s outing was another impressive step in a rapid introduction to pro baseball. The 21-year-old right-hander has now thrown five scoreless innings across his first three professional appearances, striking out 10 while allowing just one hit. After dominating at UC Santa Barbara and being selected fourth overall in the 2026 MLB Draft, Flora is already giving the Giants plenty to be excited about.
