The Yankees defense in 2026

The 2026 Yankees defense never ceases to amaze me. The Yankees pitcher threw a ball away and somehow the Yankees turned what should’ve been a manageable defensive situation into complete chaos. The runner takes off, the Yankees scramble to make a play, and suddenly there are Angels players flying around the bases while the defense looks completely lost. What makes it even better is watching the Yankees players’ reactions afterward — like they’re all trying to figure out how that sequence just happened in front of them. At this point, the Yankees defense is just creating content for us.
