Don Mattingly's Game-Stopping Homerun in 1995 ALDS

OTD 1995: "HANG ON TO THE ROOF!!" Yankee Stadium, The Bronx. Yanks-M's ALDS, Game 2. Yanks up 1-0 in games. With Game 2 knotted at 2, Don Mattingly's tiebreaking 6th inning home run sends the crowd into a literal game-stopping frenzy. Game 2 later reaches epic status via a series of lead changes (including a crazy 12th inning in which BOTH teams score!), before Jim Leyritz' walks it off in the 15th inning. Sadly, this would be the last game Don Mattingly would wear the home pinstripes as an active player.
