Xander Hamilton plays baseball at Appalachian State University and is a relief pitcher. He previously played two seasons with Virginia Tech. Hamilton is from Raleigh, North Carolina and attended Needham B. Broughton High School. He was named the Cap 7 Pitcher of the Year as a high school senior.
