Stone Cold Returns To Save WWF From WCW & ECW

Later that night - Diamond Dallas Page & Rhyno vs Kane & Undertaker. Alliance interferes, then Hardy Boyz, APA, Jericho, Angle all run in to help WWF, but Alliance has too many guys and WWF is getting cleared out. Backstage WWF vs Alliance brawl everywhere, WWF is losing. Then you hear the truck. A truck pulls up to the arena and Stone Cold comes out with his cue stick and starts beating down EVERY WCW and ECW guy in his path. Comes down to the ring trash-talking the whole way, Stunner to everyone. WWF cleans house and stands tall for the first time in weeks. The crowd pop is insane - it’s considered the one bright spark of the whole Invasion story. The twist? 6 days later at the Inaugural Brawl - WWF Invasion PPV, Austin does the ultimate swerve - he stuns Kurt Angle and helps Booker T beat him, joining The Alliance. He says it’s because WWF didn’t appreciate him like Alliance did. He wouldn’t truly save WWF until Survivor Series 2001 Winner Take All - when Kurt Angle turns back on Alliance, hits Austin with the belt, and The Rock pins Austin to end The Alliance for good.
