The Legend of Edge is Coming to an End

When I see Edge, I don’t just see a wrestler—I see a Rockstar. 🤘 Grateful to have witnessed the career of one of my all-time favorites, and even more grateful that The Ultimate Opportunist got the chance to return to wrestling, take control of his own destiny, and decide how his story would end. Second chances in professional wrestling are rare, especially when they come after circumstances that could have ended a career forever. The Rated-R Superstar Edge is one of the greatest tag-team wrestlers ever, one of the greatest Canadian 🇨🇦 wrestlers in history, one of the best heels of all time, and without question one of the most complete performers the business has ever seen. Edge’s story is one of the greatest wrestling journeys ever told—filled with the good, the bad, and the ugly. From breaking into the business alongside his best friend Christian, teaming with his childhood hero Hulk Hogan, and winning tag-team gold, to the “You Suck” chants toward Kurt Angle, the Matt Hardy saga, becoming the first-ever Money in the Bank winner, creating an unforgettable rivalry with John Cena, winning MITB again, battling The Undertaker, forming Rated-RKO, leading La Familia, winning the Royal Rumble, main-eventing WrestleMania, entering the Hall of Fame, and making his incredible return to wrestling. Then came another chapter: creating Judgment Day, joining AEW, sharing the ring with Sting, reuniting with Christian, and continuing to write his story on his own terms. 11-time world champion. 14-time tag team champion. And a résumé that speaks for itself. With four legendary careers nearing their final chapters—Edge, AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, and John Cena—it truly feels like the end of an era and the closing of an entire generation. What a journey.
