Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy settle their rivalry at WrestleMania XXV Extreme Rules Match

Brother against brother. At WrestleMania XXV, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy finally settled their bitter rivalry in an Extreme Rules Match where anything was legal and the only way to win was by pinfall or submission. The match quickly became chaotic. Jeff attacked Matt with a framed WrestleMania poster, used a trash can and crutches, and took the fight around ringside. Matt answered with a chair, a vacuum cleaner, and a Side Effect onto a chair. The biggest moment came when Jeff put Matt through a pair of tables with a spectacular ladder attack. Jeff then looked to finish the match from the top of a ladder, but Matt moved out of the way. In the closing moments, Matt caught Jeff with a Twist of Fate while Jeff's head was positioned in a chair, scoring the three-count. WrestleMania XXV April 5, 2009
