CM Punk's "This Fire Burns" entrance and the return of the Straight Edge Society mask

"This Fire Burns" has to be one of the coldest wrestling themes ever. When CM Punk brought it back at WrestleMania 41, it instantly brought back memories of the old-school Punk era—the opening riff, the classic titantron, and that 2006 version of Punk. Pure nostalgia. Of course, "Cult of Personality" eventually became THE CM Punk theme. Living Colour’s iconic song has been closely tied to Punk for years, from his legendary 2011 WWE run to his return in 2021 and everything that followed. Punk has even said that while "This Fire Burns" holds a special place in his history, "Cult of Personality" is the song he considers his own. And now, WWE is bringing another piece of that era back. After teasing it, WWE has confirmed that Punk will bring back the iconic Straight Edge Society mask at Worlds Collide. So if we’re getting the mask again… how crazy would it be if “This Fire Burns” made a comeback too? It might be a long shot, but when it comes to CM Punk, you really never know.
