Vanessa Herzog is an elite Austrian speedskater who began skating at age six, inspired by her cousin. She quickly rose through the ranks, winning nearly every early race and developing a lifelong passion for the sport. Vanessa is a 2019 World Champion in the 500m, 2-time vice world champion, and earned bronze at the World Championships. She is an 11-time European champion on both ice and inline, a 2-time overall World Cup winner in the 500m, and has achieved over 35 World Cup podiums. Vanessa also represented Austria at the 2018 and 2022 Olympics and was named Austrian Athlete of the Year 2019.
