Ty Schaefer is a professional flyweight MMA fighter out of San Diego, California. Born and raised in South San Diego, Ty comes from a blue-collar background rooted in hard work and resilience. A former professional BMX racer of 11 years, she later earned a degree in Merchandise Product Development from FIDM. In 2016, she transitioned into MMA, bringing fierce determination and creativity to the cage. Turning pro during the COVID pandemic, Ty embodies grit and passion. She fights in memory of her late little sister, whose strength inspires her daily to live boldly, compete fiercely, and pursue greatness with purpose.
