Matt LeBlanc in "Ed" (1996) - A baseball movie with a chimpanzee costar

Ed (1996) stars Matt LeBlanc as Jack Cooper, a minor league baseball pitcher whose career is complicated by an unusual new teammate named Ed. The twist is that Ed happens to be a chimpanzee who can play baseball. As Jack struggles with his confidence on the mound, he develops an unlikely friendship with Ed while navigating the chaos of having a chimp on the team. It's the kind of bizarre sports comedy that could only have come out of the 1990s. Does anyone else remember watching this movie growing up?
