The emotional journey of Tommy Conlon in the film Warrior

Warrior (2011) follows Tommy Conlon, a former Marine who returns home and asks his estranged father Paddy to train him for a major MMA tournament. But their reunion is anything but happy, with years of resentment still standing between them. Played by Tom Hardy and Nick Nolte, Tommy and Paddy share some of the film's most powerful scenes. What begins as preparation for a fight becomes a story about broken families, forgiveness and the pain people carry long after leaving home. Is Warrior one of the most underrated sports movies ever made?
