Simon Tanner is the Lead Instructor and Head Coach of Templar Combat School & Top Team, a martial arts gym dedicated to European Striking Arts. Hailing from Indiana, Simon’s journey in combat sports began in his youth, earning an 8-0 record in Taekwondo and competing in Folk Style Wrestling throughout middle and high school.\n\nIn adulthood, Simon faced a turbulent period, becoming deeply involved in political activism that led him down a path of hate and violence; Seeking a way out, he returned to martial arts, using it as a means to find discipline, purpose, and peace of mind; and hopes to lead others out of hate and violence just as he has. This journey ultimately led to the founding of Templar Combat School, where he now trains and mentors fighters in European Striking Arts.\n\nSimon has competed in underground kickboxing, holding a 1-1 record, and has since transitioned into the Amateur Kickboxing circuit with his team and will have a debute on May 17th. As a coach and fighter, he continues to push himself and his students to excel in both competition and personal growth.
