Butterbean vs. Troy Roberts: Finishing Moment in Round 3 (1998)

On September 18, 1998, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, 300+ lb fan-favorite Eric “Butterbean” Esch met 6’2” heavyweight Troy Roberts inside the ring. Roberts tried using his reach and jab early in round 1 to keep the powerhouse at bay. But Butterbean pressed the action, chopped down the distance with heavy overhand rights, and pinned Roberts against the ropes in round 3.
