Pigi Devetzi
Pigi Devetzi is a retired Greek track and field athlete, specializing in triple jump and long jump. Born in Alexandroupoli, she won a silver medal at the Summer Olympics and a bronze medal at a later Olympics. In the Olympic semifinals, she set a Greek record, ranking among the all-time greats behind legends Inessa Kravets, Tatyana Lebedeva, and Françoise Mbango Etone. Known for her explosive power and technique, Devetzi remains one of Greece’s most successful jumpers, leaving a lasting legacy in Olympic and international athletics.
