Omar Vizquel is a Venezuelan former MLB shortstop widely regarded as one of the greatest defensive players at the position. A three‑time All‑Star and 11‑time Gold Glove winner, he spent 24 seasons with the Seattle Mariners, Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants, Texas Rangers, Chicago White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays and recorded nearly 3,000 hits.
