Rams had too much working in their favor to throw this game away

The Rams had way too much working in their favor tonight to throw this game away. Harrison Mevis missed a 50-yard field goal, then had his potential game-winner blocked from 48 yards in overtime. TWO MISSED OPPORTUNITIES. But Sean McVay ain’t exempt either. That overtime play-calling deserves criticism, too. You had Matthew Stafford throwing for 383 yards and 3 touchdowns, and you couldn’t finish the job. At some point, enough is enough. Mevis has to be better in clutch moments, and McVay has to make better decisions when the game is on the line.
