Chicago Squares Week 5: Bears at Packers Rivalry Pizza

It's Packer Week baby! The Bears are up at Lambeau today to take on Jordan Love the Green Bay Packers and this week's pizza is inspired the Chicago/Green Bay rivalry. Solemn John, founder of the Chicago area brewery Solemn Oath Beer, is a Packers fan and said he would do whatever the top comment said on a post if the Packers lost last season's wild card game...well I commented... Brew a Beer called "Green Bay Tears". Since John owned up to the bet...Green Bay Tears was born and it's going to be incorporated into every element of our pizza. The dough, emulsified into beer brats, beer braised onions, a Green Bay Tears pub cheese, and a beer mustard. The pizza begins with a layer of shredded mozzarella and Wisconsin's finest sharp cheddar and is then topped with the beer brats and braised onions. After a quick bake in my Gozney Dome XL, the pizza is finished with dollops of pub cheese, beer mustard, and green onions. It's a Green and Gold masterpiece, with hints of bitterness which I assume actual Green Bay tears taste like... There's no love lost between these two teams, between the players, coaches, and fans...this rivalry is special. Hopefully the Bears can pick up their third straight win against the Pack today, but no matter if they win or lose, at least the pizza was good. Nah for real, let's see some green bay tears today.
