Bijan Robinson's 59-yard touchdown against the Saints on Monday Night Football

Bijan Robinson just ripped off a 59 yard touchdown on the third play of Monday Night Football, and he is the highest paid running back in NFL history for a reason. The Falcons signed him in August to a three year extension worth up to $75 million, making him the league's top paid back. After last season it was hard to argue. Robinson led the entire NFL with 2,298 yards from scrimmage, a new Falcons record and the 12th highest total in league history, and was a first team All-Pro. He then came in at No. 3 on the NFL's Top 100 players list, a jump of 59 spots. This season has been more of the same. He has 349 rushing yards on 66 carries through three games, averaging 5.3 yards a carry. Against the Packers in Week 3 he carried 29 times for 194 yards and two touchdowns in Atlanta's first win of the year. Tonight against the Saints his 59 yard score was the third longest rushing touchdown of his career, and the Falcons are now 2-0 in games where he scores on a 50 yard rush. Atlanta has Michael Penix Jr. back at quarterback, and the offense is finally giving Bijan room to work. A running back worth every dollar.
