On April 10, 2015 Dmitry Bivol defeated Konstantin Piternov via third-round technical knockout (TKO), at the Luzhniki Palace of Sports in Moscow, Russia. This light heavyweight bout was only the second professional match of Bivol's career, entering the ring at 1-0 against Piternov, a highly experienced veteran holding an 18-6 record. Despite the massive gap in experience, the 24-year-old Bivol dominated the 32-year-old "Volga Cossack" from the opening bell using superior footwork and sharp combinations. The decisive ending came at 1 minute and 12 seconds into the third round when Piternov's corner threw in the towel to protect their fighter from Bivol's relentless accuracy against the ropes.Disclaimer : No Copyright Intended | DM For Credits/Removal
