Marcos “Ratinho” Santana, born in Rio de Janeiro, has dedicated over 20 years to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, becoming a 3x black belt world champion and coaching other world champions along the way. After co-founding The Forge Gym and Roger Gracie Academy Dubai, he now splits his time between Dubai and the UK, sharing his knowledge with students worldwide. Beyond the mats, Marcos holds an MBA in Leadership and experience in both online and physical businesses. He is the founder of the Grindset Method mentoring program, the author of two sports mentoring eBooks, and the creator of the Mats and Beyond YouTube channel, a platform giving athletes, coaches, and gyms a voice to share their stories and inspire others. His mission remains clear: to uplift, inspire, and leave a lasting impact on the combat sports community.
