Luther Broughton’s first love was basketball, but he went on to become an All-American football player for Furman University. He played tight end and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1997 and spent five years in the NFL. He also played for the Carolina Panthers. Broughton is represented by the NFL Alumni Association.
