Lavale Thomas is a retired NFL running back known for his time with the Green Bay Packers. A standout at Tulare Western High School, he set a school record with 1,479 rushing yards in his senior year. He played college football at Fresno State University (1982-1985), amassing 1,043 rushing yards and eight total touchdowns. After going undrafted in 1986, Thomas signed with the Kansas City Chiefs before making his NFL debut with the Packers in 1987.
