Lauren Almeida is a softball player at Dixie State University, an NCAA Division 1 school in Utah. She plays shortstop and third-base. Almeida was born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii and graduated from Kamehameha Schools Maui. Almeida plans to major in biomedical sciences and pursue a career as a physician’s assistant.
