Lance Medow has worked as an on-air talent for a variety of media outlets and teams including Sirius XM, Westwood One Sports and the New York Giants. He serves as the play-by-play announcer for Columbia University men’s and women’s basketball, football and baseball on SNY and ESPN+ and calls college basketball games and assumes the role of a studio host for Westwood One Sports. Lance recently called the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Albany Regional 2 highlighting Caitlin Clark and Iowa. He also works for the New York Giants, hosting various shows and features for the team’s website and podcast/radio network. Medow served as the Pre/Half/Post Game Host on the WFAN Giants Radio Network for a decade. He also hosted shows on Sirius XM for 15 years on various channels including Mad Dog Sports Radio and NFL Radio, where he covered all 32 teams and national and regional storylines in all different sports. Lance has also done on-air work for MLB.com, MTV and The High School Basketball Network, which afforded him the opportunity to call the McDonald’s All-American and Jordan Brand Classic Boys Games several times. Through his work on MTV, he served as the play-by-play announcer for their Spring Break Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament and Rock N’ Gol Celebrity Soccer Tournament. Lance is a graduate of NYU, where he studied broadcast journalism and began his on-air career on WNYU Radio as the voice of the “Violets” and a sports talk show host.
