Growing up, he was a Sanda fighter who competed multiple times in China. He represented the USA team in the sport before taking a hiatus from fighting. Life eventually brought him back to the fight and fitness world. He is currently signed with BKFC and holds the position of number 2 Flyweight. In August 2023, he fought for the first BKFC Flyweight title against John Dodson. Although he did not secure the win, he remains determined to pursue the belt.
