Jeff Hunter is a former American football defensive lineman. He played five seasons in the NFL primarily for the Phoenix Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Bucaneers. He was drafted as the 191st pick out of Albany State University (GA) in the 11th round of the 1989 NFL Draft by the Phoenix Cardinals. Gene Stallings was the head coach of the Cardinals at the time. Jeff retired from the NFL in 1997. He has been coaching high school football since 2001.

Jeff won a state championship with the Lee County (GA) Trojans in 2018.
