Christopher Jason Witten is a retired American football tight end with a storied 17-season career, primarily with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. Currently, he serves as the head football coach at Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas. Witten played college football at the University of Tennessee, was drafted by the Cowboys in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft, and ranks second in all-time career receptions and receiving yards by an NFL tight end. Regarded as one of the greatest at his position, Witten's legacy extends both on and off the field.
