Jacob Houtz is a standout senior infielder from Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, and a key player for Mansfield University’s baseball program. Majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice, Houtz has earned numerous accolades, including ABCA/Rawlings All-American honors and PSAC Eastern Division Athlete of the Year. Known for his powerful bat and consistent production, he ranks among the program’s all-time leaders in home runs, doubles, and RBIs. In 2025, he led the PSAC in multiple offensive categories and started every game he played. A true scholar-athlete, Houtz was also named Mansfield’s Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, reflecting his excellence on and off the field.
