Jake East is an American football player currently playing as a defensive back for the Cal Poly Mustangs. He has an impressive record in high school, with 336 tackles, 35 pass breakups, six interceptions, and six forced fumbles. East was also a talented lacrosse player, receiving offers from prestigious universities such as Brown, Syracuse, Michigan, and Harvard. However, he chose to pursue football and has been successful in his decision, earning numerous awards including All-Ventura County Football Coaches Team MVP and the Canyon League's defensive player of the year. East is also a scholar-athlete with a 4.0-plus grade-point average.
