The foundation also highly values collecting memories surrounding great moments in pro and college football history, as well as stories about important figures in NFL, AFL, AAFC, NCAA, and HBCU football history. Additionally, the organization works to enhance the preservation and knowledge of Texas sports history and the people involved with its rich history.Michael Jackson (pen name Jackson Michael) founded the oral history project and continues to carry its purpose. He performs almost all of the tasks associated with the project. He has written three published football books and wrote and directed a documentary about the Luv Ya Blue era Houston Oilers. "
