Ja Morant dunks on Victor Wembanyama

Bro dunked on Wemby 😳 Ja Morant’s new chapter in Portland is one of the most fascinating fresh starts the NBA’s had in years. After seven seasons in Memphis and a tenure that ended with injuries and off-court controversy piling up, he’s now teaming up with Damian Lillard on a young Trail Blazers team fresh off its first playoff appearance since 2021. That pairing with Lillard looks awkward on paper, two ball-dominant guards sharing a backcourt, but Morant’s still got career averages of 22.4 points and 7.4 assists when healthy. Portland’s betting big that a change of scenery is exactly what revives a talent that once had the whole league buzzing. Can Morant and Dame actually make that backcourt pairing work?
