Texas vs. Ohio State: Game of the Year potential in Week 2

Texas vs. Ohio State has legitimate GAME OF THE YEAR potential and somehow we’re only in Week 2. Two top-five teams, two loaded rosters and a matchup that already has plenty of history after Ohio State beat Texas in the CFP and then got them again in last season’s opener. Texas finally gets another shot at the Buckeyes in Austin, with Arch Manning trying to end that recent run of Ohio State wins. On the other side, Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith already looked terrifying in Week 1, so Texas’ defense is going to get tested immediately. This feels way bigger than a normal September game. Revenge, playoff implications, superstar talent everywhere and two teams that fully expect to be playing for a national championship. Week 2 is giving us a PLAYOFF atmosphere already.
