Malachi Toney's incredible performance in Miami's 52-23 rout of Pitt

Through eight games, Malachi Toney has been the most consistent playmaker in the country. Season totals heading into tonight: 66 catches, 952 yards, 11 TDs four games with 10+ catches, five with 100+ receiving yards. The stretch run has been absurd: 11 catches, 154 yards, 2 TDs in a 2OT rivalry win over Florida State, then a new Miami single-game record today 16 catches, 194 yards, 3 TDs in a 52-23 rout of Pitt. He even shook off a second-quarter injury scare to rip off a 53-yard touchdown the very next drive. 7-0, No. 1 in the country for the first time since 2002 and Toney's the engine behind every bit of it. 🌴
