I saw this and just busted out laughing, because Ja’Marr Chase really went from barely being involved to reminding everyone who he is one week later. After catching just 2 passes for 12 yards in Cincinnati’s Week 1 win over Tampa Bay, Chase came out against Houston and finished with 7 receptions for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 20-6 Bengals victory. And the funniest part is that Cincinnati clearly decided they were not letting another quiet game happen. Chase was targeted early and eventually delivered two completely different touchdown plays, including an unbelievable 32-yard sideline grab where he contorted his body and somehow kept both feet in bounds. Then he added an 18-yard touchdown in the third quarter to give Cincinnati even more separation. One week it’s 2 catches for 12 yards, the next it’s 7 catches, 75 yards and 2 touchdowns. That escalated QUICKLY.
