Imagine 5-6 Texas vs 4-7 Texas A&M on Black Friday

IMAGINE 5-6 TEXAS VS. 4-7 TEXAS A&M ON BLACK FRIDAY. Two of the biggest programs in college football. Millions spent building their rosters. National championship expectations coming into the season. And somehow, they’re fighting for bragging rights and bowl eligibility instead of a playoff spot. The funniest part? KYLE FIELD WOULD STILL BE ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC. Texas just suffered its second straight loss, falling 27-24 to Florida after entering the game ranked No. 7. Meanwhile, Texas A&M has already had its own struggles this season. And with the Lone Star Showdown returning to College Station on November 27, imagine how personal this game could get if both teams continue struggling. Forget the SEC Championship. Forget the College Football Playoff. AT THAT POINT, IT’S PURELY ABOUT WHO GETS TO TALK TRASH FOR THE NEXT 365 DAYS.
