DYLAN RAIOLA IS HAVING AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE AGAINST UCLA.
43 TOTAL YARDS AND TWO INTERCEPTIONS THROUGH THREE QUARTERS?!
Just two weeks ago, Raiola looked like he was about to prove everybody wrong.
After Dante Moore went down against USC, the former Nebraska quarterback stepped in and absolutely delivered, completing 19 of 25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns in Oregon’s 41-27 victory.
He entered today’s matchup having completed an absurd 83.3% of his passes this season, throwing for 413 yards, five touchdowns, and ZERO interceptions.
Now he’s facing a completely different reality.
Against No. 21 UCLA, Raiola has struggled to get anything going, completing just 6 of 19 passes for 43 yards and TWO interceptions through three quarters.
And remember, this is the same quarterback who transferred from Nebraska to Oregon looking for a fresh start and an opportunity to compete for a national championship.
He spent two seasons in Lincoln, throwing for 4,819 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions before making the move to Eugene.
With Dante Moore sidelined, this was supposed to be Raiola’s opportunity to show the country that he could lead a legitimate playoff contender.
Instead, UCLA’s defense has made life miserable for him.
One bad game doesn’t erase what he did against USC, but performances like this are exactly why people are still questioning whether Raiola can consistently deliver against elite competition.
