The Buffalo Bills officially have their first touchdown in the new Highmark Stadium, and of course it came from Josh Allen. After Buffalo opened the scoring with a Tyler Bass field goal, Allen got the offense right back down the field with an eight-play, 80-yard drive against Carolina. Allen finished the drive by finding Keon Coleman for a 9-yard touchdown, putting Buffalo up 10-0 and officially making Allen-to-Coleman the first touchdown connection in the history of the Bills’ new stadium. It was also a nice start for Coleman after an offseason where his role in Buffalo’s offense has been a major talking point. It’s only preseason, but that’s a piece of Bills history that isn’t going anywhere. Years from now, when people ask who scored the first touchdown inside the new Highmark Stadium, the answer will be Josh Allen to Keon Coleman.
